Memorial Day Race 48 – May 27
Cincinnati’s second oldest race behind the Thanksgiving Day Race. The race is put on by the Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati and proceeds go to support running in the Greater Cincinnati area.
New Race Added to the 2024 Grand Prix
The Run for Chief Race is in honor of Jaden “Jay Chief” Woodard with proceeds benefiting the families at Cincinnati Children Hospital’s Heart Institute. Jay Chief is one-of-a-kind and this race is a celebration of the life he lived. Whether you were Jaden’s best friend or unfortunately never got the opportunity to know him, we would love to see you on June 15th at Sawyer Point. Register now.
RCGC Grand Prix Winners
The goal of the Grand Prix is to include and recognize members that do many of the races that the club puts on, supports or supports us.
Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female, Top Male and Female in the Youngster Category(29 & Under) Submasters Category(30 -39), Masters(40-49), GrandMaster(50-59) Legends(60-69) Categories and Still Looking Good(70 and over). For 2021, Scoring was based on any best 5 races(either A or B), and two B Races. Below is a list of the award winners for the 2021 Grand Prix. Special awards are given to those who score over 500 points in the Grand Prix and known as the 500 Club. They will be recognized at a future Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati Event.
For over 40 years, the Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati has promoted running walking and general fitness in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We are an all volunteer, non-profit 501c(3) in good standing . We sponsor and put on races, parties, picnics, group runs, happy hours and other events for Cincinnati runners.
