DESCRIPTION:Canaan Joseph Foundation is a non-profit organization with a goal of helping families with children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. Every 15 minutes a child born is being diagnosed with a congenital heart disease\, the # 1 birth defect in children. On average\, 40\,000 children born are diagnosed with CHD. With the size of a walnut\, many newborns undergo open-heart surgeries in the first few days of their life. It is a world-changing and heart-wrenching journey the loved ones of the child must face. There is no cure for it\, only a temporary fix. This means these children go numerous heart surgeries during their lifetime. Many do not make it beyond their first year. Needless to say\, one of the hardest battles the loved ones fight along with their little heart warrior. The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit the inpatient families and research in the Cardiac Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. \nMore Details

DESCRIPTION:Mt. Airy Ridge Run is a perennial favorite. This is the largest park in the city and features extensive trails.  \nMt. Airy Forest is\, in fact\, one of the larger parks located within a city’s limits in the country. Even Central Park can only boast 843 acres\, while Mt. Airy holds a massive 1\,469.9 acres. The Mt. DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss Race Day Weekend at the Wiedemann Brewery in the always-friendly confines of downtown St. Bernard! \nThe Wiedemann Mile is a challenging test of strategic speed and pacing run over the bed of the historic Miami & Erie Canal. This rolling cross-country course is mostly flat\, with a couple of short-but-challenging hills near the midpoint. The event will take place rain or shine. A free kids fun run will follow the main event. \nThe one-mile course begins and ends in the Bohemian Beer Garden of the historic Wiedemann Brewery\, where the original canal wall still stands more than 100 years after commercial traffic was shut down. The top male and female runners will win prize money in the form of brass Wiedemann’s “Good Luck” beer tokens and other valuable merchandise.
