DESCRIPTION:The race will take place on the well-established Backpack Trail\, at East Fork Lake State Park. The 5.4 mile course is densely wooded\, and a handicap start for pre registrants. The 10.8 mile (two loop) race will have a mass start with no handicaps. \nThere is a “Trekker” category for those who would like to do the 10+ mile course but need extra time to finish. If you think that you need more than 2-2.5 hours to finish\, we encourage you to consider the this option. You can start at 8:00 instead of nine. You will receive a time and credit for participation. DESCRIPTION:Ricky Moyer loved many things in life\, including farming\, weight-lifting (all exercise really) and practicing law.  He was a devoted husband and father with countless friends in each of these industries. Always putting others before himself\, he was generous\, kind and always quick to offer words of wisdom. Over the years Rick competed in dozens of 5K races\, often with his family in town. With his favorite season upon us\, we are choosing to honor Rick’s legacy featuring his very favorite event – a Pump & Run and 5K walk/run.
