DESCRIPTION:The race will take place on the well-established Backpack Trail\, at East Fork Lake State Park. The 5.4 mile course is densely wooded\, and a handicap start for pre registrants. The 10.8 mile (two loop) race will have a mass start with no handicaps. \nThere is a “Trekker” category for those who would like to do the 10+ mile course but need extra time to finish. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to a race presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club!\nIf you’re not familiar with the Ohio River Road Runners Club\, we’re a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio Non-Profit club dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community in and around Dayton\, Ohio. We are one of the largest (and we think BEST) clubs in the nation. \nThis is one of our “small races”\, meaning it is free for ORRRC members\, free for anyone 14 and under\, and only $10 for everyone else.  If you’re not a member\, you’ll have the option to join when you register – for only $35 per year\, you get 20+ races from 1 mile to half marathon distances\, on roads and trails\, included!

DESCRIPTION:Every Sole Counts is a newly created organization whose mission is to empower Special Needs Athletes by providing them with high-quality running gear that meets their individual needs. Easy\, mostly flat asphalt course utilizing Batesville Parks paved trail system.  The course begins at Liberty Park\, continues through beautiful Brum Woods\, back past Liberty Park through The Plex and Bill Gillespie Soccer Park towards the YMCA and then back to Liberty Park for the finish.   \nWe are hosting a costume contest for the most patriotic costume and a 50/50 split the pot raffle with proceeds benefiting Every Sole Counts. \nRegister

DESCRIPTION:This 3.1 mile walk and run is a celebratory event that honors the journey to freedom for the previously enslaved men\, women\, and children from various diasporas. Proceeds from the race will provide scholarships for Swim Lessons and Water Aerobics to combat cardiovascular disease in the African American community.
