DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Muddy Duck! Get down in the muck and run like a duck!\n​\nWe’re not really sure what that line means but it sounds good so we are going with it! But for real\, let’s get muddy! With the coming of spring the foliage will be blooming\, eggs will be hatching\, and we’ll be running! \nThe Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek is the only trail built by runners for runners! One of the unique elements of the trail is that every season brings new experiences on the trail. Our Winter Series is famous for it’s bitter cold and snow! The Firefly pits runners against the dark of night. Hoot is HOT\, and Squatch brings the best of the fall color change. Now with the Fluffy Duck we encourage you to strap on your gators and get ready for a muddy\, mucky run! \nDetails here

SUMMARY:Friends of CASA 5K
DESCRIPTION:This race is to raise money in support of the work of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Delaware and Union Counties. CASA is a program that advocates in court for child victims of abuse and neglect. Community volunteers serve as CASA’s and donate their time and resources to provide invaluable advocacy for children. All proceeds raised through this event will go toward supporting the volunteers with items like gas cards\, with $10 of every registration fee specifically used to purchase teddy bears for children involved with CASA. Each participant will receive an event medal\, an event shirt\, snacks\, and drinks. We welcome race participants\, event volunteers\, and corporate sponsors.
