Meeting came to order at 6:45 PM.

Financial Report: Ryan went over 2009 P & L. The 2009 Budget forecast a loss of $3,000 but lost about $2500 in 2009. Board recommended a few changes before presenting at Annual Meeting.

Membership: Todd reported the club has 156 members. Discussed increasing membership dues in 2010.

Newsletter: Frank is busy putting together winter newsletter. Todd wanted input for how many newsletters to print for winter issue.

Website: Todd updated the club on the blog and website.

Annual Meeting: Annual Meeting will be April 12, 2010. Todd reserved the Swaim Park Lodge. Notices will go out end of March to members in good standing.

Race Reports:

Valentine's Day Race: Todd said over 140 preregistered. He expects 200 pre-registered. Discussed the idea of doing separate color shirts for male and female. Club will handle finish line and timing and oversee registration and handle packet pick-up.

Sprint for Special Olympics - March 7: Club will handle timing. Need 5 people to help.

Heart Mini-Marathon - March 28: Todd set up team for Heart Mini Marathon. Todd submitted paperwork for getting booth at Heart Mini Expo. Should hear about approval in March. Todd also reserved two room at the Westin for the Heart Mini-Suite. With the early start for the 15k, discussed what the food should be for the suite.

Circle Tail 5k: Contacted Todd and race organizer decided to change the format of the event so club help will not be needed.

Flying Pig Marathon - May 2: Discussed whether to get a booth at the expo. Two issues that the board pointed out were the cost ($400) and the volunteers to man it. However the expo gets at least 10,000 people over 2 day period so it might present a great opportunity to get info out about the club.

Memorial Day Race: Todd went over the budget for the 2010 race. Based on the budget, break even is 100 runners.

Group Runs: Weather is affecting group run attendance severely.

Training Program: Todd discussed the possibility of doing a 2010 Memorial Day Race Training Program. The program would get runners ready for all the races and not just the club's.

Programs/Seminars: Nothing new on the seminar scene.

Next Board Meeting: Todd has class scheduled on Thursday for the next two months so unable to meet on Thursday. Next board meeting will be held on Sunday March 7, 2010 at Bob Roncker's Running Spot in O'Bryonville after the Sprint for Special Olympic Race.
